The following groups provide friendship and support for mothers breastfeeding in Hong Kong.
La Leche League –LLL Hong Kong is part of La Leche League International, a nonprofit, nonsectarian organisation dedicated to providing support, encouragement and information to women who want to breastfeed. All women interested in breastfeeding are invited to attend FREE monthly meetings, or call or email an accredited leader for help. Also runs breastfeeding classes at a minimal cost. Like the LLL FaceBook Page to receive notifications in your newsfeed of upcoming meetings.
Hong Kong Breastfeeding – Women Only. This is a private FaceBook group. You’ll need to request membership, or have a friend who is already a member invite you. Following that, you or your friend will also need to send a private message to the group administrator, to prove that you’re a woman in Hong Kong (this is to keep out the weirdos who just want to look at breastfeeding photos!). It’s a wonderful little community of mothers in Hong Kong who support each other.
